Betty

Betty is a registered Australian Stock Horse. She is jet black and is one of the principal horses at Dark Horse Productions.  She performs many roles including liberty horse, saddle horse, actor horse and trick riding horse. She is also a roman riding pair with JT.

Betty’s show name is “Buzdale Black Friday” and she was foaled on Friday the 13^th!! Unlike her birth date she is not evil or scary! She is a very affectionate horse with a strong work ethic, always wanting to do more and get the job done. Betty has performed in many live shows including The Man from Snowy River and The Story of True Blue. Betty has taught many actors to ride and always works to her rider’s capability, one of her highlights was galloping the red carpet with a CEO who has only 4 hours of riding lessons in his life – what a good girl! Betty has spent many years camp drafting and competing at the national level as a stock horse, achieving great success!
